One of the Best Modern ‘Final Fantasy’ Games Just Arrived on Xbox Game Pass

October 30, 2026 - 20:24

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade has joined Xbox Game Pass, giving subscribers access to one of the most acclaimed entries in the long-running role-playing series. The arrival comes as part of a larger update that adds more than 20 games to the service.

The title is an enhanced version of the 2020 remake, which reimagines the opening section of the 1997 classic with modern visuals, a revised combat system, and expanded storytelling. The Intergrade release also includes the Episode Intermission content featuring Yuffie Kisaragi, a character who plays a larger role in the follow-up, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

For Xbox players, the addition marks a notable shift. The remake was previously unavailable on the platform, having launched first on PlayStation and later on PC. Its inclusion in Game Pass gives a much wider audience a chance to experience the game without a separate purchase.

The update brings a mix of genres and eras, from big-budget adventures to smaller independent titles. Subscribers can expect a steady stream of additions throughout the month, with some games arriving on day one and others joining the catalog for the first time.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade stands out as the headline addition, offering dozens of hours of content and a polished take on a beloved story. For anyone who has held off on trying the remake, this is the easiest entry point yet.
