Halloween is the perfect time to embrace fear, and video games offer some of the most immersive scares available. From gory eroticism to psychological dread, here are five titles worth your time this season.

The first is a descent into pleasure and pain, a game that blends grotesque body horror with unsettling sensuality. It is not for the faint of heart, but those who appreciate bold artistic vision will find plenty to admire.

Next, players face carnival bears with a deadly obsession: they want to hug you to death. The absurd premise gives way to genuine tension as you navigate a twisted amusement park where every cuddly creature hides a lethal intent.

Then there is a journey through the Scottish highlands, where monstrous creatures stalk the fog. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and every shadow could conceal something hungry. Fans of folklore and survival horror will feel right at home.

Another standout invites players to experience the Antarctic through penguin eyes. What begins as a wildlife adventure slowly transforms into something far more frightening, proving that isolation and cold can be just as terrifying as any monster.

Finally, a classic haunted house experience rounds out the list, offering jump scares and eerie exploration in equal measure. Whether you prefer psychological terror or visceral thrills, these games deliver the Halloween spirit in spades.
