Kendrick Perkins recently shared a shocking revelation about his experience with video games, particularly Fortnite, which has left him with a lasting disdain for the gaming world. According to Perkins, his children managed to rack up an astonishing $16,000 in charges on his credit card while playing the popular battle royale game. This unexpected financial blow has not only strained his wallet but also soured his view on video games as a whole.
Perkins, a former NBA player turned sports analyst, expressed his frustration during a recent discussion, highlighting the ease with which in-game purchases can accumulate. The incident serves as a cautionary tale for parents, emphasizing the importance of monitoring children's gaming habits and understanding the potential financial implications of online gaming. Perkins' experience is a stark reminder that while gaming can be entertaining, it also comes with risks that can lead to significant financial consequences for families.
