A new industry report places Israel among the leading gaming powerhouses in the Mediterranean region, pointing to a thriving sector valued at roughly 10 billion dollars. The findings, highlighted by GamesBeat and Xsolla, suggest the country has built a reputation as a serious contender in the global gaming landscape.

The report credits Israel's potential to its strong innovation environment, which has helped nurture a growing community of developers and studios. More than 140 companies operating in the gaming industry call the country home, spanning mobile titles, PC games, and related technology services.

Analysts note that this concentration of talent and business activity has turned the region into an attractive hub for investment and partnerships. The combination of technical expertise, startup culture, and access to international markets has allowed local studios to compete well beyond their home turf.

While the report does not single out specific companies, it frames Israel as a market worth watching in the coming years. With a diverse mix of established firms and emerging developers, the country appears well positioned to expand its influence in an increasingly competitive global industry.
